Bayer Properties Selected to Lead Leasing for Marketplace at The Bray

By Stephanie Rebman, Birmingham Business Journal

A local firm has been selected to lead leasing efforts for Marketplace at The Bray in Liberty Park.

The Publix-anchored center is slated to be adjacent to The Bray Town Center, a 700-acre mixed-use, master-planned community. Bayer Properties will be handling leasing efforts for the Marketplace shopping center.

M&P Shopping Centers named Bayer Properties to the role for the 62,787-square-foot retail center in Vestavia Hills that is still in the early stages of development. Currently, the Marketplace has a mix of national and regional tenants including Planet Smoothie, Papa Murphy’s, F-45 and Easy Vet.

Jake Datnoff, a Birmingham native, is leading retail leasing efforts at Marketplace. He also spearheads retail leasing at Riverchase Village, Market Square, Chelsea Crossroads and 280 Station, other Birmingham-area, Bayer-managed centers.
