The Hardwick has engaged A SustainAble Production (ASAP) to assist with obtaining the WELL Building Standard. Led by Jennifer Jelovic and John Harrison, ASAP will guide Bayer through the process as we aim to deliver a more thoughtful and intentional space that enhances human health and well-being. Backed by the latest scientific research, WELL includes strategies that aim to advance health by setting performance standards for design interventions, operational protocols and policies and a commitment to fostering a culture of health and wellness. WELL spans 110 Features in 10 Concepts: Air, Water, Nourishment, Light, Movement, Thermal Comfort, Sound, Materials, Mind and Community.
The Hardwick is among the first mixed-use projects in Alabama to pursue the WELL Building Standard.
